A online survey amongst scientists working in publicly funded institutions in Germany investigates the significance of intellectual property (IP) protection for their work in research and development, in particular in neglected disease research.

The questionnaire asks researchers about their opinions and experiences, for example with publicly funding and industry cooperation’s, as well as scopes of action they could imagine to improve health in developing in relation to IP rights they might held.
